Meet a Barcelona TOEFL Tutor: Owen
Owen grew up in a small town in the southern part of the United States and ever since he was young, he wanted to travel the world. "If I'd lived in another century, I definitely would have been an explorer," he laughs. "I want to visit new places and meet new people and immerse myself in different cultures." Owen has always loved fossils and studying the geological history of the world, and he was proud to study geology and anthropology at Northwestern University. After graduating with a B.S., he was offered a job in a museum in Barcelona and recalls, "I couldn't pack my bags fast enough!"
Since relocating to Barcelona, Owen has worked on perfecting his Spanish while helping native Spanish-speakers master the English language. As a native English speaker, Owen brings an experienced and insightful perspective to helping students prepare for the TOEFL, breaking down confusing concepts and ensuring those he works with have truly mastered preparing for the examination.
